After 107 days, the oil spill in the Gulf may finally be over. The government says the static kill is working. And scientists now say only about a quarter of the oil has yet to be collected, which would mean that about two million gallons of oil were removed from the water. However, a number of questions remain: Is there a chance the oil will actually show up again? Michel Boufadel, professor of civil and environmental engineering at Temple, says we should expect the unexpected. "If there is anything we have learned, it's to prepare to be surprised. We may find oil in locations that we never expected to find it."
