Bears fans actually felt bad for Packers

When a referee's call gave the Seahawks a win over the Packers recently, some Bears fans experienced sympathy for Green Bay. "Researchers have found that third parties completely uninvolved in events, whether they're sporting events or workplace events, they care," said Brian Holtz, an assistant professor of human resource management at Temple. "And when they witness unfairness, they react strongly to it. This violates the norms."
