Boyer's artist in residence nominated for Tony
Forrest McClendon, an artist-in-residence at Temple's Boyer College of Music and Dance, promised a shout-out to Lancaster County if he won a Tony Award, his first nomination, for his work in the controversial musical "Scottsboro Boys." McClendon, who lives in East Lampeter Township, said things have been going his way since relocating to Pennsylvania Dutch country a few years ago. "I have no urge to move at all because so many amazing things have happened since I came here."
