Twenty-eight students from Temple's Department of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture paid their fourth and final visit to Cape May, leaving behind drawings for revamps of two city parks. The Temple students gave the city 4-foot by 4-foot scale models of both parks as well as a 4-foot by 12-foot scale model of Cape May. Among the students who presented plans: Julia Dougherty, Alexa Goodkov, Charles Morris, Tom Schreier, Matt Shearon, Tim Gannett, Jen Vaccaro, Denise Wood and Robin Irizary. Mayor Edward Mahaney said the students and two professors have been working with the city for a year to improve Cape May's appeal as a coastal resort city.
