The Philadelphia Chapter of First Books is holding its second annual Speed Read event where local celebrities will read a book as fast as they can in a coherent manner. "Anytime anybody asks you to do something to help children, you have to be ready to go," said Temple basketball coach Fran Dunphy, who will be reading "Green Eggs and Ham." "You’re helping kids try to get better and give opportunities to some who don’t have the same opportunities as others."
