In an opinion piece, Lila Corwin Berman, professor of American Jewish history at Temple, asks, “How will a more embedded urbanism, where people live and pray and eat in the city and don't just care about it from afar, change Jewish life and American cities?” Corwin Berman is director of Temple’s Feinstein Center for American Jewish History, which is hosting a symposium, "The Art of Being Jewish in the City," on March 15.
