Kathy Hirsh-Pasek, a professor of psychology at Temple and director of Temple's Infant Language Laboratory, along with two pediatricians, discussed the importance of play in children's lives. "Playing is learning," said Hirsh-Pasek. There is a connection between what happens in the sandbox and what happens in the boardroom, she said.
