Temple business student Mohamed Ali Niang will skip his Aug. 26 graduation to kick off his own rice-processing and distribution business in his native Mali. "Our vision," he said of the company, "is to never, ever lose a child" to inadequate diet. "I see a lot of entrepreneurs come through this program," said Jaine Lucas, executive director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute at Temple's Fox School of Business. "You learn early on who the real deal is and who the tire-kickers are. He's the real deal." Temple is going to do what it can to help Niang succeed, she said.
