With the unusually warm winter, many gardeners saw spring come early this year — bulbs blooming and trees budding weeks ahead of schedule. While the beauty of early blooming crocuses are a welcome site, what might happen if a cold snap comes through? “Most things that bloom early are used to a bit of snow. A lot are fairly adapted to the changing conditions,” said Jenny Rose Carey, director of the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University.
