Getting hitched? Invite your college mascot

Today mascots from larger universities are making appearances at weddings and other events. "It's no surprise couples who've graduated from the same university are delighted to celebrate their wedded bliss with their mascot," says Frank Farley, a psychologist at Temple and former president of the American Psychological Association. "College is where many relationships that are very significant in life are forged, and so the mascot's captured that phase of your life in just one image, in one symbol."
