A successful product or company developed from licensed intellectual property can produce a stream of revenue. “For example, Temple will see its licensing income increase to more than $13 million this year thanks to a deal that gives Baxter International Inc. the European marketing rights to rigosertib,” an anti-cancer drug that is based on technology developed at and licensed by Temple, wrote tech reporter Peter Key.
