Influential hip-hop artist speaks to Temple class
Schoolly D, an influential Philadelphia rapper who has been credited as the progenitor of "gangsta rap," spoke to a School of Communications and Theater class about the history of the genre locally and nationally. After the class, Schoolly D joined a newer hip-hop artist, Kuf Knotz, in the atrium of Annenberg Hall to talk about the Philadelphia scene.
