Award-winning Israeli filmmaker Eran Kolirin, director of the acclaimed film "The Band's Visit," has been teaching film classes as a scholar-in-residence at Temple's School of Communications and Theater. Kolirin is participating in the Schusterman Visiting Artist Program, a national residency project for Israeli artists. TV, says Shusterman director Marge Goldwater, "has become an important Israeli export in the past few years, so [Kolirin] brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the prominent film program at Temple."
