A new claim that music could be a digital drug has been creating a lot of buzz. MP3s that promise to make you high and cause hallucinations are available for downloading from the internet. Temple neurologist Ausim Azizi is skeptical, though he says there is some scientific evidence to back up the claim that sounds can affect your mood. "You can either activate a pleasure area of the brain or an anxiety area of the brain, and can cause one or the other, but to activate hallucinogenic areas and all of that is a little bit far fetched."
