As part of Temple's continuing efforts to help its neighbors, the Office of Human Resources' Division of Community Outreach and Hiring hosted a job fair for people who live near the university. Local residents were connected with recruiters from dozens of employers, including SugarHouse Casino, Rite Aid, Cricket Communications, PECO and Temple University. Fox29 reported that the event drew close to 3,000 people to Mitten Hall.
