These days bouncing one check, even accidentally, might bring the police after you. That’s what happened to one local woman who was arrested and charged with writing bad checks and theft by deception. Temple Law Professor <strong>Edward D. Ohlbaum</strong> says it makes no sense to prosecute this woman. "Unbelievable," he said. "When all we needed was a prosecutor or a police officer with a rational decision-making process working to say there really is no crime here."
