What's for breakfast? A new study from Temple's Center for Obesity Research and Education has found that some school kids eat several breakfasts a day, while others eat nothing. Researchers found that about 20 percent of children skipped breakfast, 55 percent ate one breakfast and about 25 percent had two or more. "There is no doubt that breakfast makes a big difference for children, and that access to school breakfast is a good thing," said Gary Foster, director of CORE. But if kids are going to have breakfast at school, they don't need to eat one at home or pick up food at the corner store, he added.
