Patience is key when treating a concussion

Ausim Azizi, chair of neurology at Temple's School of Medicine, was thinking the same thing as thousands of Philadelphia Eagles' fans on Sunday night when he saw quarterback Mike Vick suffer a concussion: "Ouch!"  Azizi, who is not directly involved in Vick's care, said that patience is important when treating a concussion: "To put it really simply, if you have a small scratch on your skin and you keep scratching it, it will never heal."
