Temple University has become the second area university in a little more than a month to receive a $1 million grant from the Bernard Osher Foundation to support a noncredit educational program for people aged 50 and older. The grant is to support the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Temple's Center City campus, which offers courses, field trips, clubs and lectures to its members, many of whom also lead the activities or serve as instructors.
