Temple’s Fox School of Business is in the third semester of offering a course in which students act as human resources consultants for Target Corp. Students in HR on the Ground are asked to come up with a plan for dealing with an HR issue the retailer is facing. "Target has used some of the advice we’ve given them, which is a real kick for these kids," said Katherine A. Nelson, assistant professor in Human Resource Administration. Of the 15 students who took the course in its first semester, three received job or internship offers.
