Beverly Coleman, Temple's assistant vice president for community relations and economic development, will receive the Community Forward Award, given to a person outside the Latino community who has assisted the nonprofit Asociacion Puertorriquenos en Marcha (APM) with its mission. Coleman will get the award on Saturday at APM's 40th-anniversary gala dinner and concert at the Liacouras Center (where Gov. Rendell also will be honored).
