Local developer Brian O'Neill has dropped a staggering $8 billion lawsuit against his lender, Citizens Bank, as he seeks to finish his sprawling Uptown Worthington project in Chester County. "You almost never see [litigation in the middle of a project], because things rarely get bad enough," said Stephen Aichele, a real estate lawyer who teaches a course in real estate development finance at Temple's Beasley School of Law. "It might be unusual for this to happen, but these are unusual times."
