Last spring, Temple got what is looking to be the campus’s answer to the Kimmel Center’s Verizon Hall, in the form of the new Temple Performing Arts Center, which is housed in the renovated Baptist Temple on North Broad Street. The result is one doozy of a venue. A partnership between Temple and Philly rock bookers Bryan Dilworth and Larry Magid has led to the booking of national talent. Upcoming shows include Fistful of Mercy, Rickie Lee Jones and Loretta Lynn.
