Sixers introduce draft pick Lavoy Allen
Lavoy Allen proudly held his Sixers jersey that represents the next phase of his basketball careers when he was introduced to the Philadelphia media. Allen is Temple's career rebound leader (1,147) and 24th on the all-time scoring list with 1,421 points. He's also third in blocked shots (213). "Lavoy has worked very hard at this and he deserves this opportunity," said Temple coach Fran Dunphy, who was in attendance. "He has to reward the Sixers' confidence in him by playing the best basketball he can and I think he will."
