SI’s college football reporter Pete Thamel had a lengthy conversation with new Temple football coach Matt Rhule. The interview covered a wide range subjects, from Rhule’s work-intensive lifestyle (he’s sleeping in his office) to his mentors (including Tom Coughlin and Joe Paterno). Rhule, who has returned to Philadelphia after serving as an assistant under Al Golden, acknowledged major improvements in Temple’s facilities. “Bill Bradshaw and the athletic administration and past presidents...have invested here in [Edberg-Olson Hall] so that when recruits...come and see this building they see a commitment to this university and football.”
