Student-authored Inquirer op-ed: Politics in the U.S. is like middle school

"The American political dance has the tendency to transform even the most upstanding citizens into prepubescent teenagers," wrote Temple School of Communications and Theater student Ali Watkins in an Inquirer op-ed lamenting negative ads and campaign tantrums. "If candidates aren't going to educate the public before November, then it is imperative that voters start to educate themselves and leave Governor Romney and President Obama to fight in the sandbox."
