Temple celebrates 124th Commencement

Today Temple celebrated its 124th Commencement Exercises and the largest graduating class in the university's history. The graduates move on with plenty of advice from notable faces on the commencement stage, like Temple alumnus and trustee Bill Cosby and Philadelphia native and honorary degree recipient Chris Matthews. "You learn in school how to do this, how to get grades. But you don't get jobs from kangaroos or giraffes, you have to learn how to deal with people," said Matthews. "Find something to do, you have an education. Find something to do," said Cosby. Of course, what is graduation without the traditional wardrobe, but these gowns have a twist — they're made from 100 percent recycled plastic.
