Temple football adds Notre Dame to the schedule

Temple and Notre Dame have agreed to play a three-game series in football in 2014, 2015, and a year to be determined. The 2014 game will be played in Philadelphia. "This series is good for our players, our fans, and Philadelphia," said Temple Coach Steve Addazio. "Playing strong non-conference opponents is a part of our blueprint." Addazio noted that the series is a sign of Temple's ascent in the college football world. "It's branding," he said. "People are hearing Temple. People are seeing Temple. It's all part of that buzz….You're growing as a program, as a university. All that stuff is momentum, so it's good."
