Some Philadelphia life-sciences startups are getting help on polishing their pitch to investors. Mid-Atlantic Diamond Ventures, based at Temple’s Fox School of Business, is a coaching and venture-forum program for up-and-coming businesses. "The issue with a lot of life-science firms is that the dollars (needed to succed) are huge, and the failure rates are typically very, very high," said Executive Director Jaine Lucas.
