Temple sophomore puts leftovers to better use

The debate as to whether to buy food or to heat the house should not be a debate, in my opinion,” says Temple University sophomore Nadia Ouazzi. Last winter, Ouazzi decided to help the neighborhood she now calls home.  She organized a program that safely stores leftovers from Temple dining halls to donate it to those in need. “It’s just a nutritious way to not waste food and help out the community,” she says.
