Six Temple undergraduates will get a crash course in politics with fully funded trips to the major party National Conventions. The program gives students a unique peek into the national political process. Rising senior Leann Ziobro was one of three Temple students selected to head to Tampa, Fla., for the Republican National Convention: "The first week includes classes and seminars hosted by The Washington Center. At the actual convention, we're split into smaller groups." As part of the program, rising junior Khoury Johnson will head to Charlotte, N.C., to cover the DNC for the Dallas Morning News.
