Temple's Jarrett will be an asset to Eagles

Eagles' coach Andy Reid described his newest player — Temple safety Jaiquawn Jarrett — as one of the most intimidating players in the NFL draft, and called him one of the building blocks former head coach Al Golden used to build Temple into a winner. "I loved being physical as a safety," Jarrett said. "We played a Cover 2 defense at Temple, so we had to show up in run support. You had to be violent and you had to be physical in the secondary. But you also had to be great in pass coverage. That's exactly what I showed throughout my college career and that's what I plan to bring to the Eagles."
