Temple opened its 2012 entry back into the Big East by stomping local rival Villanova before a Mayor’s Cup-series record crowd. When asked about the importance of keeping the winning streak going, Temple Coach Steve Addazio said, “The progress a team makes in the first few weeks really indicates where that season is going to head.
