Canada.com hosted a live chat about the NHL lockout "with some of the best hockey writers, sports editors and hockey experts in North America," including Aubrey Kent, founder of Temple's Sport Industry Research Center, and Joel Maxcy, a Temple sports economist who specializes in labor issues. Maxcy said he expects to see a settlement without a major loss of games because both sides agree on everything except the split of revenues. Kent agreed: "Unlike in 2004, this is not a battle of principle so much as this isn't about a system overhaul. This is really about money and how to split it."
