It’s not your family doctor’s office and it’s not an emergency room. The Temple Health ReadyCare center in Jenkintown is something in between. The medical facility is Temple’s newest urgent care center providing an alternative to the ER for less critical medical issues and in most cases, with a shorter wait. “They are able to do more things than the average primary care office, but yet not require the services of an emergency room and compete for the time and attention of the physicians,” says Temple Physicians Inc. Chief Executive Officer Dr. Marc Hurowitz.
