Professors are increasingly using social media for posting assignments and interacting with students. Steven L. Johnson, an assistant professor at Temple's Fox School of Business who teaches a Social Media Innovation course, uses a number of online connectors with students. “As educators, we can take the stance that students are going to do what we tell them," he said. "Or we can take a stance that says we want every student to do as well as possible, and we’ll meet them where they are.”
