A special National Research Council committee that will conduct an independent evaluation of the Washington, DC's public schools met in the nation's capital. The Post's "D.C. School Insider" blog reported that one of the members of the distinguished NRC committee is C. Kent McGuire, dean of Temple's College of Education.
