A new book co-authored by Temple political scientist Christopher Wlezien was named a top ten best political book of 2012 by New Yorker magazine. The Timeline of Presidential Elections: How Campaigns Do (and Do Not) Matter is described as "a deeply wonky review by two political scientists of what kinds of events actually seem to change voter preferences during a Presidential campaign.... Every political pundit should be required to read this book before covering the 2016 campaign."
