Join in a discussion of Temple’s Climate Action Plan

All members of the Temple community are invited to join in open forums to discuss and comment on Temple’s Climate Action Plan prior to its completion next month. A fundamental element of Temple’s participation in the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment, the plan outlines a university-wide strategy for achieving climate neutrality, including: establishing a target date for achieving climate neutrality; setting interim targets for goals and actions that will lead to climate neutrality; integrating sustainability into the educational curriculum; expanding research and community engagement;and establishing mechanisms for tracking progress on goals and actions. Four discussions will be held at the following dates and locations:
