Jeffrey “Chappy” Chapman had just gotten out of the military when he decided to come to Temple to get a degree and accepted a position in Temple’s Office of Campus Safety Services.

“Now here we are almost 26 years later; I'm still working on my degree, but I'm not moving on.”

Chapman is a member of the Twenty Year Club, which honors staff members who have been with Temple for at least twenty years. At the celebration held last week, Chapman was again honored for reaching the twenty-five year mark.

“I never imagined being in one place for that long, but I can't imagine being anywhere else either.”
