School of Medicine's Dermatology Department awarded $1 million

Eugene Van Scott and Ruey Yu, former faculty members of the Temple University School of Medicine and pioneers in the field of research dermatology, donated $1 million to the School of Medicine's Department of Dermatology.

Eugene Van Scott and Ruey Yu, former Temple University School of Medicine faculty members and leaders in the field of research dermatology, have made a combined gift of $1 million to the School of Medicine's Department of Dermatology, the Department's largest gift in its history.

Each donated $500,000 to create the Drs. Van Scott and Yu Fund for Dermatology, which will go to supporting innovative clinical research, by recruiting, developing and retaining emerging physician-scientists. Read more about the School of Medicine's latest endowment.
