Klein student media win five awards from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System
TUTV, WHIP Radio, OwlSports brought home awards in five different IBS categories, including Best Sports Program and Best College/University Television Station.

Carrying on a winning tradition, Klein student media outlets have earned five awards from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System.
Temple University and Klein College of Media and Communication have something to brag about. Klein’s student media outlets—TUTV, WHIP Radio and OwlSports—have collectively won five awards from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System.
Most notably, these awards include Best Sports Program for OwlSports Update’s “Inside the Nest” for Sept. 28 and Best College/University Television Station for TUTV; Temple also won in the categories of Best Website for WHIP Radio’s website, Best Use of Graphics for OwlSports Update’s Graphics Package for “Inside the Nest” for Oct. 26 and Best Station Contest/Promotional Event for WHIP Radio’s Rocktober 2021 Promo.
