Introducing Temple’s 30 Under 30 awardees for 2025
Selected from more than 200 nominations, this year’s cohort includes representation from each school and college.

This week Temple formally introduced its annual 30 Under 30 honorees for 2025. In just a few short years following graduation, these Owls are making their mark on the world in a range of industries.
The 2025 honorees were selected from more than 200 nominations. Among them you’ll find a pharmaceutical researcher, a Broadway actor, a bridge engineer, an environmental lawyer, a second-grade public school teacher, a morning show producer and more.
As you read the stories of these rising achievers, you’ll see the qualities and characteristics that define what it means to be an Owl on full display: creativity, drive and perseverance.
Launched in 2019, in partnership with Advancement Engagement and Strategic Marketing and Communications, the 30 Under 30 awards program recognizes trailblazing young alumni who are redefining the standard in their fields and transforming the landscape of their professions.
“Each year, Temple honors the achievements of 30 outstanding alumni under the age of 30 who represent the mission and spirit of Temple University,” said Katie Sampson, executive director of alumni relations. “Following their exceptional journeys as students, these young people continue to distinguish themselves. They truly embody what being Temple Made means.”
The average age of the current cohort is just under 28. With a full 13 hailing from Pennsylvania, the remainder of the group’s members came to Temple from all over the country and the world: Arkansas, California, New York, Washington, Egypt, Ghana, India and Saipan, to name a few. Among these alumni are first-generation college students and those who transferred to Temple from other institutions.
These recipients made the most of what Temple has to offer: hands-on, cross-disciplinary learning experiences; opportunities to connect with mentors, professors and alumni; and a location in the heart of a world-class city. They conducted undergraduate research, interned at local businesses, joined student and professional organizations, and studied at Temple’s international campuses in Rome and Tokyo. While each of their paths is unique, the underlying theme is clear. These young alumni are paving the way to a better tomorrow, for themselves and their communities.
“The 30 Under 30 program shows what is possible with a Temple Made degree,” said Eliza Stasi, assistant vice president of advancement engagement. “They have translated their experience and hard work from their time as students, applied it to their careers, and achieved outstanding strides in just a few short years since graduation. They show that Temple can and will continue to shape the future.”
The 2025 award recipients are scheduled to be honored during Temple Made Days, March 31–April 5. Leading up to the celebration, they will be taking over Temple's social media accounts, so keep checking @TempleUniv and @templealumni to learn more about Temple’s 30 Under 30 and what drives these young stars to succeed.
