Temple is central to Philly’s economy, Hart tells business leaders

President Ann Weaver Hart confers with keynote speaker Charles I. Plosser, president of the Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank, at a Feb. 7 economic outlook breakfast hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
Hart, a panelist at the session, told business leaders that Temple is central to preparing the region’s work force. She noted that one in eight college graduates living in greater Philadelphia has a Temple degree and that 69 percent of the university’s graduates remain in Pennsylvania. |
