The recipient of several teaching awards, Stull also served as senior associate dean at the Fox School of Business. When the economics department moved to CLA, Stull was elected to several committees including the CLA Executive Committee. The co-author of two books and numerous journal articles, his research has appeared in a wide variety of professional journals. Stull earned an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Richard Deeg has served as chair of political science for the past five years. A celebrated teacher and widely published scholar on political economy, he will assist the interim dean in managing day-to-day operations. Deeg earned an undergraduate degree from Macalester College where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and earned a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

A national search for a dean will be conducted during the 2015-2016 academic year with an appointment to be made in 2016.
