With enthusiasm, I am writing to announce the appointment of Amy J. Goldberg as dean of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, following a national search.
A nationally celebrated clinician, scholar and Temple Health surgeon-in-chief, Amy is a distinguished educational administrator with an exceptional record of service to the university, to the city and to the medical profession.
Amy has served in this role in an interim capacity for the last 18 months. Her dynamic leadership has resulted in a vital focus on student wellness, the launch of community-wide DEI programming, restructuring of the medical education and student support offices, research enterprise improvements, and innovations in curriculum, technology and other key areas.
