Ultimate campus event list: October 2023
Here are the most exciting things to do this month.
As the leaves begin to fall and sweaters make their return, it’s clear that autumn is upon us! Between enjoying pumpkin spice-flavored treats and prepping Halloween costumes, make sure to carve out some time for football, thrifting or maybe even a workshop.
Temple’s event calendar has a complete list of events, but here are a few of our favorites this October.
One of the best weeks to be an Owl is right around the corner. Get ready to fight, fight, fight at this year's Homecoming tailgate and football game: Temple Owls vs. the UTSA Roadrunners. Get active with family and friends during the day via ghost tours and sightseeing throughout Philadelphia, or wind down for a chill evening at Boyer’s Mosaic Concert. Staying close to campus? Make sure to stop by Tyler’s Art Market in support of fellow Owls and alumni.
When: Oct 2–8
Where: All over Philadelphia
The future is RINGing!

Gearing up for fall means it’s time for a wardrobe change; luckily for you, Temple’s pop-up thrift shop is back! Stop by the Bell Tower and get ready to shop for some cozy new sweaters and pants. All clothing pieces are under $10, and all proceeds go directly to The Cherry Pantry. Affordable shopping AND for a good cause…pretty impossible to resist.
