Dear colleagues, 

On Tuesday evening, the Temple Association of University Professionals (TAUP) presented university representatives with a healthcare benefits proposal. The university used the session to ask clarifying questions with the goal of getting both sides closer to an agreement.

This week’s session was an important step in moving negotiations toward an updated wage and benefits package for TAUP employees. With this healthcare benefits proposal in hand, the university is now able to fully evaluate TAUP’s completed economic proposal and prepare to have meaningful discussions during the Wednesday, April 10, bargaining session.

The university and TAUP are reviewing five additional dates for meetings that will continue negotiations through the end of May. As promised, we will continue to keep you apprised of any developments as they occur, both through email and updates on our TAUP Negotiations page.
