Students rally for continued state funding

About 600 students from Temple, Penn State, Lincoln and the University of Pittsburgh rallied at the Capitol Rotunda today. They say that even in times of economic struggle, funding for higher education should be one of the highest priorities. The students warned that cuts would come with consequences. "You cut money from education now, your social services in the future will go up. Your unemployment in the future will go up. So this is an investment, yes, today. But it's an investment for the years and decades to come," said Temple senior Alex McNeil.
