Students to legislators: Higher education is "the best investment"

Led by Temple Student Government (TSG), about a hundred Temple undergraduates boarded buses at Main Campus and rode to Harrisburg, where they joined students from Pennsylvania's other state-related institutions at the Rally for Higher Education. Legislators are facing "tough decisions," admitted TSG Senate President Colin Saltry. "But we just want to show them that the best investment they can make is in higher education," he said. "If we want to innovate and out-compete China and India, it's literally the best [investment] in this tough time."
